Officer Duties

It is the duty of all officers to maintain decorum in the way you handle not only guild business but also general matters all that you do reflects on the whole guild. Foul language and bad attitudes will not be tolerated

Guild Leader:

1. Uphold and maintain the guild charter
2. Over see daily the operations of the guild.
3. Fairly and unjustly administer the rules of this guild.
4. Hold Guild meetings on a regular basis to keep the guild informed and to allow the
guild to make a vote on issues that come before us and to keep the minutes
5. To pick officer to fulfill the officer slots allotted by choosing the person best suited for
that position.

Second In Command/Third In Command:

1. To assist the Guild Leader in his/her duties
2. To be the good will ambassador to all members of Norrath.
3. To fill in when the Guild Leader is not present to perform their duties


Raid officers:

High level Raid Officer & Assistant Levels 45 plus:

1. To set up raids for levels 45 plus
2. To discuss the upcoming raid with other raid officers and to post it to the EZ board
3. To help set up the rules for that raid
4. To help set up the raid loot splits
5. To help set up the list and groupings for the raid
6. To set a meeting time and point for the raid
7. To Run the raid in its entirety
8. To report on the EZ board the outcome of the raids
9. To help coordinate quest/epic raid for the members that need help
10. This does not only mean for Epics but for all quests.
11. To post on the raids board when such a raid will take place if time allows
12. To post on EZ board in the epic section an and all progress for epics


Mid level Raid Officer and Assistant Levels 31-45:

1. To set up raids with for levels 31-45
2. To discuss the upcoming raid other raid 2. To discuss the upcoming raid with other raid officers and to post it to the EZ board
3. To help set up the rules for that raid
4. To help set up the raid loot splits
5. To help set up the list and groupings for the raid
6. To set a meeting time and point for the raid
7. To Run the raid in its entirety
8. To report on the EZ board the outcome of the raids


Low level Raid Officer and Assistant Levels 30 and under:

1. To set up raids with for levels 30 and under
2. To discuss the upcoming raid with other raid officers and to post it to the EZ board
3. To help set up the rules for that raid
4. To help set up the raid loot splits
5. To help set up the list and groupings for the raid
6. To set a meeting time and point for the raid
7. To Run the raid in its entirety
8. To report on the EZ board the outcome of the raids

Complaints:

1. To Maintain open communication so that if there should be a problem with a guild member and a non-member occurs they can email or contact you in game
2. If any discussion take place in can to log it and email the log to the guild addy
3. To make sure all officer are aware of the potential problem.

Historian:

1. To keep record of all meeting minutes so that they may stay within the guild for future reference
2. To compile and maintain complaints logs about members and report them to the officers at the next officers meeting
3. To compile and post news worthy events for this guild.
4. To assist the guild leader with mailings if necessary
5. To keep records of any and all private discussion held between officers and offending members

Guild Banker:

1. To receive and record all things entered into the guild bank
2. To post on the board a monthly total of what we have in the bank
3. To distribute the wealth for raids and such.

Recruitment and Membership:

1. To recruit new members for this guild that will be best suited for it
2. To work together in getting new members the guild
3. To inform them of our procedures and requirements before they join
4. To receive the applications for membership and present them to the guild for acceptance
5. To inform them of the password for the members section to the EZ site
6. To post a welcome to the newly invited members on the EZ board site



Sergeant at Arms:

1. To carry out the wishes of the guild where conduct issues concerned
2. To remove someone if they are voted out by the guild
3. To maintain peace and harmony within the guild.
4. To report any potential problems with guild members to the Guild Leader.

Power Level Officers:

1. To set up dates for Power Leveling events for the lower Levels
2. To post on the ez board the time and place events will take place
3. To keep a record of how many members attend and who to see if this is a beneficial service for the guild.



Diplomat:

1. To set up alliances with other guilds
2. To keep an open line of communication with these guild
3. To inform other guilds of events and or raids that are upcoming
4. To inform guild members of events and or raids that our allies are having
5. To give our allied guild the ez board site so that they might post invites to events that we are welcome to join.


Liaison Officers:

1.There will be 3 officers in these slots that will represent the different levels
(a) Levels 40 plus
(b) Levels 20-44
(c) Levels 1-19
2. To represent their chosen levels at officer meetings and voice the concerns of those members and any suggestions or ideas they might have, so that the officers can address it.
3. If a situation require the immediate attention of a high level officer then it is the liaison officers duty to contact such officer and hold a chat with the member, high officer and themselves.
4. To send a log of any and all chats held that pertain to the immediate attention rule to the guild leader

Trade Skills Officer:

1. To be knowledgeable in the various trade skills
2. To maintain information at hand for such skills that is a member needs help they can answer questions that any member may have
3. To post information about trade skills to the ez board site for members to look over

Honorary Officers:

1. Most of these officer will assist in any way they can with any guild business
2. To represent the guild as some of the oldest members of the guild
3. To be present as some meeting so their voices can be heard to.
